Our story
It all started with our founder, Alegría - leading a reforestation project in the Jaboncillo Mountain of Manabí. During her experience, she tasted the richness of the heirloom 'nacional' cacao,a native gem in her homeland. Alegría went on to dream of a flourishing cacao community. Along her journey, Melissa and Briana joined her and have participated in turning the dream into reality.

Our hearts' mission: building a bridge where ancestral spirituality and western medicine can converge upon bringing greater nourishment to our mind, body and soul.

Mama Cacao's energy mirrors the love of a cosmic grandmother, offering a nurturing embrace that transcends the physical and reaches into the very soul.
